Aerial/Edge is an independent publisher of poetry and poetics based in Washington, DC. The first issue of Aerial appeared in 1984. Edge Books began publication in 1989.

Aerial is focused primarily on the avant garde and the experimental, broadly defined, following from recent North American experimentation by such groups as Black Mountain, New York School, L=A=N=G=U=A=G=E, San Francisco Renaissance, and antecedents including John Cage, Gertrude Stein, and William Carlos Williams.
