Cancer (June 21-July 22): I've found a setting for my story. I just haven't found a protagonist. But your problem is that you've found a protagonist without a setting, without a plot. You can't see the plot and setting for the protagonist...but the only true protagonist is the setting (in which you saw what at first you thought was a felled tree rotting. Then you realized it thought it was a man, a teacher at that. Though it may have been a teacher, it couldn't have been a man. And if you have to pass its class to live (which I pray you don't), you'd rather die, of cancer, in your sleep).
